Fees
My fee is $200.00 for the initial intake session ( up to 90 minutes) and $160.00 for subsequent sessions (60 minutes). Payment will be processed prior to the start of each session by credit or debit card for online therapy sessions. All sessions are online and open to individuals physically located within the state of Colorado at the time of the session.
Reduced Fee I participate in Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. Open Path is a cooperative of therapists committed to making therapy affordable for those who are un-insured or are under-insured. If you have concerns about affording therapy services, I invite you to check out Open Path. You are able to request to work with me through that platform. I keep a set number of my client spots for Open Path members. As such, the availability of these reduced cost spaces changes.

Cancellation Policy
24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
There is a fee for missed appointments or for cancellations less than 24 hours before an appointment. If the session is missed or not canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, a $80.00 cancellation fee will be processed and charged to the credit/debit card on file. I provide some flexibility in allowing one (1) late cancel or missed appointment per 6 months to account for an unexpected illness or emergency. Reminders are sent prior to scheduled appointments to help you maintain your scheduled appointment.

I utilize a third-party biller for insurance-based clients. If you will be using your insurance benefits, I will provide you a link to SonderMind to set up a client portal for billing purposes. Please let me know if you have any questions about this process.
I am also a participating provider for:
Colorado Medicaid (CCHA-Colorado community Health alliance)
If you are planning to use your Medicaid benefits, we will verify your eligibility and benefits prior to scheduling your first session. Please note: I am only contracted to accept CCHA.
OUT-OF-NETWORK SERVICES
If you have an insurance carrier other than those listed above, you can still submit a claim to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits. Please check with your insurance company to review the out-of-network schedule of benefits and whether a co-payment or deductible applies. My services are under Mental Health Benefits.
I will provide you a “superbill” for paid services that you can use to request reimbursement from your private insurance company. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
Does my policy cover telehealth sessions?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is prior-approval required for outpatient therapy services for CPT codes 90791, 90834 or 90837? (These are the most commonly used CPT codes in my practice).
